“The Essence of Man,” Brut brand of aftershave, balms, and deodorants has been grooming men since 1964 when it was first launched by Russian company Fabergé.which was initially started by Samuel Rubin but late sold to George Barrie. Under the leadership of Barrie, Fabergé launched several cosmetics line, including Brut between 1964 and 1984. Brut colognes became a huge hit.

Over the years the Brut Man has come to have an identity. He is a mark of true gentlemen, recognized as someone who creates his own style, without worrying what the world thinks of him. In the United Kingdom, it was promoted by Henry Cooper with the slogan “splash it all over.” Actress Kelly Le Brock was among others promoted the brand.

For a long time, Brut products have been known by their trademark green bottles with silver medallion. Apart from fragrances, the range of offerings includes aftershave, balms, and deodorant. The brand stands for American definition of masculinity and complements all stages of grooming for a man.
